VIDEO: Tipp minor footballer reveals his mother's cancer diagnosis inspired his Movember beard shave

Last month we brought you the news that the beardy Tipp footballer (aka Aidan Buckley) had shaved off his beard for charity.

Aidan's highly impressive beard, for a man of such tender years, was shorn for Movember and he raised €2000 for Irish cancer charities in the process.

The All-Ireland finalist has now revealed in a video for Movember that his mother's cancer diagnosis in 2011 was a key reason for his decision to get involved with the charity.

He also speaks about being approached by Movember ambassador Noel McGrath, who was diagnosed with testicular cancer earlier this year.

Fair play fella.
