We miss having Tommy Walsh on our TV screens flaking all round him and claiming high balls above lads about a foot taller than him, just
look at some of his best moments here.
But all good things must come to an end and in 2014 one of the finest hurlers of his generation hung up his Kilkenny hurley after a stellar inter-county career.
He was a hugely popular member of the squad however, as can be seen when the
entire Kilkenny panel surrounded his house to get him out celebrating with them.
Tommy was out doing some clay pigeon shooting this week and proved that he's every bit as accurate with a gun as he was with the hurley and sliothar.
Perhaps he's just practising in case Lar Corbett starts following him around again...
