If you’re like us, you’re immediately harking back to the glorious days of Super Mario Brothers, Duck Hunt and other great NES titles right now.

Until recently, we hadn’t realised that the marching band scene in US University football sports was so competitive, but it’s great for the spectator as the bar appears to have been raised all around.

Fresh from tributes to Michael Jackson and some popular Hollywood movies by the Ohio State University marching band in recent times, the Clemson University Tiger marching band paid tribute to some old Nintendo classics at half-time during a college football clash against Georgia Tech last week.

You should be able to recognise the old NES controller and a lot of the characters and symbols fondly remembered in the video above and while we’re disappointed that there doesn’t seem to be any mention of the old classic Marble Madness, it’s an excellent effort nonetheless.
