In this incredible video, the trials bike legend Danny MacAskill brings the forgotten city of Epecuén in the Buenos Aires, Argentina, back to life with his amazing bike skills.
Once upon a time, the city of Epecuén was a thriving tourist village filled with people looking to take a break from everyday life in a relaxing paradise setting. However, on November 10, 1985, a massive lake wave known as a seiche caused by a rare weather pattern broke a nearby dam first, then the dike protecting the town.
The town was almost completely submerged for 25-years and left abandoned by all. That was until the waters slowly started retreating and one lone resident returned to the place he once called home. That man is Pablo Novak.
Pablo was recently joined in Epecuén by trials bike legend Danny MacAskill for a movie by Dave Sowerby and we have to say, it’s an incredibly powerful piece of footage. Even in a place as dead as Epecuén, one man can inject so much life… and with just a bike.
