OK, so we can’t actually see Stevie throwing the darts but we’re willing to give him the benefit of the doubt in this case.
He’d rather the circumstances were different, but Stephen Ferris has had a lot of time on his hands of late as he looks to get back from an ankle injury that has kept him out of action for the best part of the last year.
As well as rehabbing the injury itself, Ferris has obviously been putting a lot of time into his darts game, as is evident from a textbook ‘180’ he scored on his home dartboard, footage of which he filmed and posted on his official Facebook page.
As we hinted at above, because you can’t see Ferris throwing the darts, sceptics might suggest that he could have had Phil ‘the Power’ Taylor or somebody else throwing them for him for all we know but Ferris insisted on Twitter that he has hit not just one but two maximums in recent days.

We believe you Stevie but as impressed and all as we are, we’d all prefer to see you back doing what you do best in your chosen field as soon as possible.
