Video: Whose brilliant free-kick was better last night, Ronaldinho's or Cristiano Ronaldo's?
Two free-kick golazos were stroked home last night by two of the best in the business. Which one was better?
A bit like buses in Dublin, you wait ages for a strike and then two come at once (hold on, does that make any sense?). Anyway, overnight there were two stunning free-kick goals scored by two of the best dead ball strikers in the game.
In Brazil, Ronaldinho continues to show he’s still the man for new South American champs Atletico Miniero. They drew 1-1 with Botafogo and their goal was a real touch of class by the former Ballon d’Or winner.
Meanwhile, up in Miami, another Ballon d’Or holder scored another beaut. Cristiano Ronaldo, playing for Real Madrid against Chelsea in a friendly in Miami, drove home a wonderful free-kick for his team, from fully 30 yards out.
We think we’re just leaning towards Ronaldinho’s effort, but they’re both top class goals.
