Great name, fantastic catch.

New Zealand wouldn’t be particularly renowned as a giant of the cricketing world or anything, but this catch by Trent Boult is as good as you’ll see anywhere this year. With the Ashes commanding attention of cricket fans at the moment it might not gain as much exposure as it should, but the athleticism shown by Boult when dismissing Denesh Ramdin during a test match against the West Indies in Wellington is deserving of serious kudos indeed. So good was Boult’s leap and catch that the cameraman had already figured that the ball was going to pass him by but Boult had other ideas and the catch was worthy of the delirious celebrations that followed.
