St Patrick’s College in Cavan won the Corn na nÓg Cup at the weekend thanks to this late winning goal from Bradley Okaidja.

Bradley scored the highly unorthodox winner by dribbling the ball on the ground past all of his opponents after he lost control of the ball from his hands.

Cavan is not conventionally seen as a footballing powerhouse (at least not since the heady days of the 19030s, ’40s and ’50s) compared to the likes of Dublin, Kerry and Longford but this clip shows that their football is no less exciting.

It’s a great goal, but it must be said, he did appear to pick the ball off the floor around five seconds into the video; we’re not expert referees though and you need a bit of luck to win anything.

All the same, he showed some good skill and his little flick around the keeper is a move that Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Emile Heskey would be proud of…
