Vine: Alex Ferguson and Thierry Henry sitting together at Wimbledon is like Arsenal v Manchester United in ’03

Great pals

Great pals.

It has been two years since we’ve last seen Alex Ferguson furiously chewing gum, demanding an extra few minutes of injury-time and winning trophies with more regularity than clockwork.

The iconic former Manchester United manager has been enjoying his retirement by giving golfers pep-talks, hanging out with Cristiano Ronaldo and harassing Michael Carrick among others.

Govan’s most famous son is also a keen Andy Murray fan though and he’s just one of the many faces in the crowd today as the British number one meets Roger Federer on centre court.

By a marvelous coincidence, Arsenal hero Thierry Henry is sitting next to Ferguson this afternoon and I’m sure that the duo are having a great time catching up , however, the Internet can be a wonderful thing at times.

Here’s six-seconds that just seems to perfectly capture the feeling between Manchester United and Arsenal during the Gunners’ unbeaten season in 03-04.

Maybe Fergie still holds a grudge towards the Frenchman for all those wonderful goals that he scored against United over the years.
