Any commentator that can seamlessly include Alan Partridge references during coverage of a snowboard half-pipe contest at the Winter Olympics is a great commentator in our book and Tim Warwood shot up in our estimations after doing just that on the Beeb earlier today.
It’s definitely up there alongside pretty much any examples of George Hamilton’s work and Partridge himself analysing the football as our favourite ever sporting commentaries…
