Ludicrous as the idea of getting up at the crack of dawn to watch live golf might seem on any normal day (just kidding golf fans) it’s entirely excusable to do it for the Ryder Cup and there was a cracking atmosphere on the first tee at Gleneagles this morning. The biggest welcomes were, understandably, saved for the European players and the fans present were also keen to show their appreciation for the European captain, our very own Paul McGinley... Vine via RyderCupEurope Europe might have home advantage, but there was no doubting which of the early starters enjoyed playing to the gallery to the most...
