Vine: Fans brawl in the stands because no amount of fighting is enough at an NHL game

The folks who go to NHL matches go because they love the noble sport of ice hockey, but we’re fairly sure that a few of them are there because they like to see a good fight too, which is part and parcel of the game.

A few fans in the stands the other night at the game between the Ottawa Senators and the Montreal Canadiens figured that they hadn’t seen enough punching on the ice, so decided to get into it a little bit in the stands instead.

The camera cuts out before it fully kicks off, but there were definitely a few decent swings attempted. Thankfully, loads of people decided to whip out their phones and film the thing instead of getting involved at all to stop the fight (SOUND) and so we have a little bit of footage of what happened after.

Obviously there was a period in the middle there where things calmed down, but it’s good to see that all the violence out on the ice has absolutely no negative repercussions at all. Oh yeah, the game ended 5-4 to the Canadiens, if you were pretending to care about that.

Hat-tip to Guyism for the Vine
