Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal must be delighted with his sides recent run of form having won 6 of their last league matches.

While the performances haven’t exactly been vintage, United are starting to consolidate their Champions League credentials after an indifferent start to the season.

The much maligned midfielder Marouane Fellaini has become something of a favourite under Van Gaal, the Belgian has featured in every one of the 6 wins on this recent run, and his form has improved under the Dutchman.

Then again it couldn’t have gotten any worse than it was during last season.

Despite Fellaini’s improvement he still isn’t the most ‘aesthetically pleasing’ player to ever grace the Old Trafford pitch as seen by this clip when the received a throw in from Antonio Valencia in the 3-0 win against Liverpool.

Take a look at this woeful first-touch when no one else was even near him.
