Football players swapping shirts during and after a game is something that’s become common practice in today’s modern game. It’s okay until that awkward moment when all 11 players Lionel Messi is playing against want his jersey, that could get messy (unintentional pun).
Croatia thumped Cameroon four-nil last night and the game saw former Sevilla teammates Ivan Rakitic and Stephane Mbia go up against each other. Usually when old teammates play each other, they hug and give each other their shirts at the end of the game.
Rakitic and Mbia did that but what happened down the tunnel was a little unusual…
