This is nasty…

Gennady Golovkin continued his rampage through the middleweight division over the weekend with a savage second round KO win over Marco Antonio Rubio in California.

Golovkin, who was defending his WBA middleweight title, smashed Rubio with a left hand to the forehead in the second round which flattened the Mexican and secured an 18th consecutive win for Golovkin.

The power and precision is frightening, check out two different angle of the hit here…

The win saw Golovkin pick up Rubio’s WBC interim belt which means the winner of Miguel Cotto (WBC Champion) versus Canelo Alvarez, who fight each other next year, will be Golovkin’s next opponent.

The Kazakh boxer’s record is now 31-0 with 28 KOs so he’ll take some stopping.
