Liverpool got their pre-season campaign off to a solid start with a 4-0 victory over a Thai All-Star XI today, with Brendan Rodgers running the rule over his squad by playing a different XI in each half.
Lazar Markovic, Mamadou Sakho, Adam Lallana and Divock Origi all got on the scoresheet, but it was new Reds captain Jordan Henderson who stole all the attention with a magnificent rabona assist for Lallana's goal.
A lovely piece of skill for sure, but somehow we doubt Jordan will be trying stuff like this when the serious business starts; he only has to ask David Dunn about how it can all blow up in your face.
