A bit of a dirty move from Lefty…
Phil Mickelson had a bit of a joke about the lawsuit involving Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell at his press conference at the Ryder Cup this afternoon.
Mickelson was asked if about the bond between the players on both sides after a journalists suggested that the Americans weren’t as close as the Europeans, Phil’s answer was cheeky to say the least.
“Not only are we able to play together, also don’t litigate against each other, and that’s a real plus, I feel, heading into this week.”
Afterward, Mickelson smiled and said, “Sorry, I couldn’t resist.”
