With a 3-0 lead in their back pocket, Real Madrid decided to rest their main man, Cristiano Ronaldo, for the trip to Dortmund. Carlo Ancelotti stuck him on the bench, but surely they wouldn’t need to call on their Portuguese superstar?
Well Carlo was wrong, as a saved penalty, and two goals by Marco Reus has put Jurgen Klopp’s side right back in the tie and the reaction from Ronaldo to the second Reus goal suggests he is really not too chuffed with his team-mates. Understandably.
