On a day when his putting wasn't fully tuned in, Rory McIlroy showed that class is permanent with this bit of magic on 17. Down two holes on the 17th in his match with Sergio Garcia against Jimmy Walker and Rickie Fowler, Europe needed to win the hole to keep the hope of a half alive. And McIlroy delivered it in some style.   Update: And the European duo pulled it off by winning the 18th too to nab a point. That half could be massive and probably leaves the US with almost nothing to show from the afternoon session.
