According to Bleacher Report, Smith was fighting with a bad case of cauliflower ear on the night, so when Eye landed a huge right hand on Smith’s left ear, it ripped right open sending blood everywhere.
Fight photographer Ed Mulholland managed to snap a pretty gruesome photo of the incident in question.
