Vine: Was injured Tyrone player Conor Clarke trying to put Monaghan's Kieran Hughes off his penalty kick?
Clarke is acting as ball boy for Niall Morgan today in Clones and he was active behind the goal as the Monaghan man took his spot kick.
Tyrone were robbed of one of their best players a few weeks back when Conor Clarke did his cruciate, ending his season. But the Omagh St Enda’s clubman is very much involved for the Red Hands in today's Ulster quarter-final clash against Monaghan.
Clarke seems to be operating as a ball boy for Tyrone keeper Niall Morgan, feeding him the ball quickly for kick outs. He is also clad fully in black, just like Morgan.
But the real reason he is making news is that he was spotted moving his arms as Kieran Hughes ran up to take a penalty midway through the first half. Hughes missed, at the side Clarke was standing, but whether he put the Monaghan man off wasn't clear.
The rules on injured players being involved in such a capacity is also unclear, but we suspect it might be debated during the week.
