This guy bruised his ego… and his arse
Posted on the official West Ham FC Twitter account, this slapstick-tastic vine shows the moment one of the Upton Park staffers, quite literally, fell over himself when welcoming outspoken comedian and massive Hammers fan, Russell Brand, to the stadium.
In his haste to open the door for Brand, the overly-excited security worker rushed to the door, only to fall flat on his wee bum-bum and subsequently rush to the floor.
We’re presuming Brand went on a 48 minute rant about the state of staffers today and about how slipping is an epidemic creeping into the sheepish psyche of the people of the British nation. We can’t be sure though.
To be fair to the embarrassed staffer, what a cool save. Just look at that smooth greeting he gives Brand as he walks through the door…
