We won’t lie, it got emoji-nal.
Some GAA managers of a certain vintage wouldn’t know an emoji if it hit them in the face, but given the age profile of the current batch of inter-county players, they’re very much down with the kids.
We caught up with Cork’s Colm O’Neill, Tyrone sharpshooter Ronan O’Neill and Neil Collins of Roscommon at AIB’s launch of their second year sponsoring the Senior Football Championship and decided to see how they fared in an emoji quiz with a GAA twist.
We asked Colm, Ronan and Neil to try and guess the names of five GAA personalities using emoji clues and as it was on Snapchat, they only had ten seconds (ish) to guess each one.
