McGregor has come out swinging in recent days with criticism of lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and former featherweight champion Jose Aldo.
The Notorious had some strong words for Alvarez in recent days telling MMA Fighting, “He’s a novice. He’s a novice on his feet, swinging shots, overhands. He just is a wrestler with an overhand as well.”
But he seems focused on the fight at hand with Diaz as he works on combinations with his coach Owen Roddy, despite doing a photoshoot for a magazine as well.
