WATCH: The Danish fans made a serious racket on their way to the Aviva Stadium

They made themselves heard.

They’re as up for this as we are.

Tension is rising ahead of one of the biggest games in Irish football history at the Aviva Stadium and the Irish team will very much need the assistance of ‘the 12th man’ if we’re going to get a result and make it to the World Cup.

Ireland, of course, will have strength in numbers in terms of support at the Aviva, but the sizeable Danish contingent that made the trip to Dublin are certainly intent on making themselves heard.

JOE reader Clayur Thornton captured footage of the Danish fans making their way down Townsend Street shortly before 6.30pm and it made for an impressive sight.

Much as they make for a good atmosphere, we sincerely hope they’re a good bit quieter come 10pm or so tonight.

Cheers to Clayur Thornton for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to [email protected] or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
