WATCH: Diarmuid Connolly smiles and signs autographs after being mobbed by adoring schoolkids

Lee Keegan isn’t anywhere to be seen.

The latest episode in the Diarmuid Connolly v Lee Keegan saga has been the main talking point ahead of the All-Ireland Final replay this weekend, but the Dubs sharpshooter doesn’t appear to be too bothered by all the fuss.

Connolly met with friends for lunch at the Hungry Duck Café in Crumlin on Wednesday, where he was approached by a group of schoolkids keen to meet with their hero.

Connolly couldn’t have been more accommodating, smiling and patiently signing autographs while his fans wished him the best in Saturday’s game, one of who urged him to “score a hat-trick” against the men in green and red.

Well played Diarmuid.
