Monivea Abbey GAA club took on the Aran Islands in the Galway Division 3 Football League at the weekend with Monivea running out 5-10 to 1-16 winners.

He must be a man of many talents as last year he won an All-Ireland Intermediate huring title with Galway while also starring with his hurling club Abbeyknockmoy as they reached the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Final.
