It’s sad to see them leave.
They’ve been a breath of fresh air in the tournament as Iceland took on the established order and showed that they could compete with the best of them… and England.
Last night against France proved a bridge to far for the Iceland team but they went down fighting in a 5-2 defeat to the hosts.
France just outclassed them in the first half with the magnificent Paul Pogba leading by the charge.
While they may be going home, they still took time to pay tribute to their wonderful supporters by performing their now famous “huh” chant with their fans one last time.
We’ll miss these guys, but there’s no doubting where our allegiances lie now, come on Wales!
