Having to use the word ‘puck’ repeatedly during a live broadcast can be quite perilous.

Jamesie O’Connor is one of the best hurling pundits in the business. Insightful in print, on the radio and on TV, the two-time All-Ireland winner knows his stuff when it comes to the small ball game and has proved quite handy with the technical gizmos that Sky pundits utilise during their broadcasts. During coverage of Cork’s clash with Dublin on Saturday evening, however, the Clare man suffered the type of slip of the tongue that can happen to the best of us. O'Connor was commenting on the need for Cork to push up on 14-man Dublin's puck out and ended up doing so quite forcefully... https://youtu.be/8BwBWnohrYs Jamesie, to be fair, recovered like a pro; fair pucks to him. Cheers to Mike O’Sullivan, David Campbell and Christopher Marsh for sending this one our way. Got a story for JOE?
