You’ve just scored a worldy, everybody’s chanting your name, you feel like you can do anything — then you make an absolute balls of the celebration.
The Wexford man was in flying form last night, scoring a brace for the Colorado Rapids in a 2-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes. The result sends the Rapids to the top of the MLS Western Conference.

But what matters is that Doyle is back on the scoresheet. The goals were his first since July 9th, and he’ll have to keep banging them in on a regular basis if he wants to play any role in Ireland’s international set-up going forward.
