WATCH: New trailer for Manchester City documentary is out and it looks incredible

Manchester City

If you’re a football fan, you simply can’t miss this.

Last season, Manchester City broke basically every single record the Premier League had.

They accumulated the most points in the league’s history, they scored the most goals in the league’s history, they won by the biggest margin in the league’s history.

Long story short, they were brilliant.

Their squad was full of talented players – Kevin DeBruyne and David Silva were exceptional, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane were a constant threat out wide, and their goalkeeper Ederson looked solid in every single game.

But despite their ridiculously good side, it was their manager that was seen as responsible for the majority of their success.

Pep Guardiola is undoubtedly the best football manager in the world, and this documentary might be the best chance we get to see an insight into his teachings.

The trailer shows an inside look at training sessions, as well as passionate team-talks from Pep Guardiola himself.

Perhaps the highlight of the trailer comes when Pep is lecturing his players, and states that: “Some of you play better when you’re angry with me. So if you hate me, hate me guys. No problem at all.”

Whether or not City can repeat, or perhaps improve on, last season’s success is a big question, but with Guardiola at the helm it looks a very realistic possibility.

In 10 years time we may look back at this group of players as one of the best team’s of all time, so this inside look at them really is unmissable.

The documentary will be released on 17 August on Amazon Prime.
