WATCH: Reflect on a massive week of Irish sport with Ronan O’Gara and Andy Reid

JOE

The feast of sport continues.

As the Six Nations ends with Ireland’s heroic derailing of England’s record-seeking chariot at the Aviva, the stadium this week plays host to the Republic of Ireland’s first World Cup qualifier of the year.

Just as well we have legends of the round and oval ball on hand for this week’s SportsJOE Live.

Former Ireland, Munster and Lions out-half Ronan O’Gara returns for this Wednesday’s show (9.30pm on the JOE and SportsJOE Facebook and also on Twitter), alongside retired Ireland, Nottingham Forest, Tottenham and Sunderland footballer Andy Reid.

With host Colm Parkinson and JOE writer Dion Fanning, the lads will be looking back to the finale to the Six Nations, Austin Healey and English hubris.

As Martin O’Neill prepares his unbeaten team for the visit of Wales and Gareth Bale, the panel will discuss O’Neill’s assistant and the cult of Roy Keane.

Filmed in Maximum Media’s new purpose-built studios and sponsored by Screwfix.ie, SportsJOE.ie is presented by The GAA Hour host Parkinson and Australian-born comedian Damien Clarke.

The first socially distributed broadcast show of its kind in Ireland, the opening episode of SportsJOE Live was watched by 150,000 viewers between Facebook and Periscope.
