It may have taken place in another country, but there was a huge crowd in attendance at Ruislip on Sunday afternoon as the footballers from Mayo and London got their championship campaigns underway.
Tickets for the game had been sold out for ages as Mayo fans travelled east in their droves to watch their beloved side ease to a comfortable victory over a determined London outfit.
The match itself was only the start of the craic as afterwards, what seemed like hundreds of supporters gathered in a large marquee at the Irish TV Grounds.
A JOE reader who wishes to remain anonymous was in attendance and sent us on some footage; by the looks of things, the celebrations probably lasted well into the night.
