WATCH: The first Mayo All-Ireland Final song is here, and it’s Pitch Perfect inspired

We knew that we'd be facing a hoard of All-Ireland Final songs in the coming weeks as Mayo are renowned for their creative ballads in support of their football team. We've heard some great ones over the years, 'Sam Maguire is coming home to Mayo' is a personal favourite of ours. What's that? You can't remember that one? Other people involved in the project are Peter Gannon, Pat Coyne and Niamh Morley. They've adapted the cup song which was sang by Anna Kendrick in Pitch Perfect to suit their needs... supporting Mayo in the All-Ireland Final against Dublin. Called Mayo Cup Song, the CD goes on sale tomorrow. We think there's a joke in there somewhere about it being the only cup Mayo will see this year... but we're not going to make that joke.
