Iceland endeared themselves to all of Europe and the watching football world thanks to their fantastic Euro 2016 adventure, the highlight of which saw the country beat England in the last 16 and perform one of the most memorable celebration rituals in memory.
It turned out that literally nearly everybody in all of Iceland watched that famous match, so it came as no surprise that the team were given this incredible welcome when returning home on Monday, after losing to France in the quarter-final.
