WATCH: The victorious Tipperary team had a sing-song in Rody Boland’s late on Sunday night

Tipperary claimed their first All-Ireland hurling title in six years with a memorable victory over Kilkenny on Sunday, a victory that is going to be celebrated for quite some time in the Premier County and deservedly so. Those celebrations started on Sunday evening and after their banquet in the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Dublin, the players landed in to Rody Boland’s in Rathmines to keep the party going into the wee small hours. Rody’s, as many will know, is a pub with strong Tipp connections and it didn’t take long before the players belted out a version of a famous Tipperary song about a famous Tipperary mountain, 'Slievenamon'. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that there have been better versions of this particular song but we doubt there has been a happier bunch of men singing it. A few of them might wake up with sore heads on Monday morning but they’ll wake up as All-Ireland champions; no doubt the party is only getting started.
