WATCH: These impressions of GAA legends (and BOD) went down a treat at half-time in Croke Park on Sunday

Conor Heneghan

From Up to the Match to Croke Park, it was a busy weekend for Aidan Tierney.

Tierney has developed quite the reputation for his ability to deliver spot-on impersonations of high-profile GAA figures and after a warmly-received performance on Up for the Match on Saturday night, he was invited to put on a show at half-time in the All-Ireland hurling final on Sunday.

Brian Cody, Tomás Mulcahy, Donal Óg Cusack and Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh all got an airing, while there was also time for Brian O’Driscoll reminiscing about the days when he captained the Irish rugby team at GAA HQ.

That was only a taste of what the Galway man can deliver – you can check out his Morgan Freeman impression here – and after that performance, he could be back on the hallowed surface for the football final in a fortnight’s time.
