Gary and Paul O’Donovan did Skibbereen and all of Ireland proud with a fantastic display in the final of the men's lightweight double sculls in Rio de Janeiro on Friday afternoon.
The entire nation seemed to be watching on from home and in Rio, Trisha O’Donovan watched on proudly as her sons were pipped to Gold by the French pairing after a truly magnificent performance.
