Jamie Heaslip has been speaking business today at the Web Summit, but when prompted to talk about Ireland’s World Cup campaign, he didn’t hold back.

Speaking about the World Cup for the first time since the Argentina defeat, Heaslip said:
“We let ourselves down in the first ten minutes against Argentina, although we responded well afterwards, it was too late.”
He did reflect warmly though on the amazing atmosphere during that famous group game against France, saying that the day was “the most mental match I ever been involved in, it was unbelievable”.
