We’ve got some good news about the Munster Football Final replay…

Good sense prevails.

GAA supporters around the country will be thrilled to hear that the Munster Football Final replay between old foes Cork and Kerry will indeed be televised live by RTE on July 18th at 7pm.

There had been fears that the game would not be televised live by the national broadcaster, as Sky Sports were showing two live qualifiers on the same day as part of their broadcasting deal.

However, today, it has been announced the the replay in Killarney will be televised.

The first game was a classic encounter full of verve, endeavour and no little skill and the country will be eager to see if the replay can match the first game for sheer drama and excitement.
