There’s another bumper weekend of Gaelic football on the horizon and we have tickets to give away to you lucky folks, thanks to eircom.
With four more qualifiers, including three meetings of provincial rivals (Longford/Wexford, Cavan/Fermanagh, Kildare/Louth) it is a pretty busy weekend in the All-Ireland football championship. Add in the novel pairing of Leitrim and Armagh and the Leinster final and it’s a real cracker.
That Leinster decider, between Meath and Dublin at Croke Park, is a classic encounter. It will take a mighty effort from Mick O’Dowd’s men to stop what looks like a very serious Dublin team but if any side will run out at HQ thinking they can take the Dubs then it’s the Royals.
