The winners and losers from WrestleMania 34 (SPOILERS)

Conor Heneghan

WrestleMania 34

A good night for Ronda Rousey, not so good for Finn Bálor.

If you thought that the weekend’s sporting action ended with Patrick Reed claiming the US Masters title at Augusta on Sunday evening, then you were sorely mistaken…

Later that night, the biggest event of the year for wrestling fans all over the world took place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans and, as per usual, it didn’t disappoint.

Amongst the main storylines on the night were Ronda Rousey’s WWE debut (which proved to be a particular highlight) and the return of Daniel Bryan following a lengthy lay-off, while the presence of Finn Bálor, Sheamus and Becky Lynch ensured a strong Irish interest in proceedings.

Plenty of wrestling fans stayed awake during the night to watch events unfold, but if you weren’t one of them, if you plan on catching up on it in your own time and have made it this far despite the prominent SPOILERS warning in the headline above, you might want to avoid reading the results below.
