The fastest player in the top flight so far in 2014-15 is Everton defender Phil Jagielka who recorded 35.99kmh against Leicester in the season opener.

Leicester right-back Richie DeLaet is second while Joe Ledley of Crystal Palace is third. Irish defender Joey O'Brien is tenth on the list while Swansea flier Nathan Dyer is the only winger in the top ten which surprised us.
