After the nearest of near misses last week, we’re determined to get back to winning ways this week.
Oh, Conor Lehane how we cursed you while watching TG4 last week. Your very, very late, ultimately pointless, goal against Kilkenny robbed us of our 15/2 treble and the chance to go back-to-back in our weekend punts. We had the Cats to win by four, which, combined with Arsenal and Reading sharing more than four goals and Gareth Bale to score anytime against Swansea, was our punt last Friday.
Still, we’re five out of six for our last six tips so we’re hopeful we can keep the fine form up this weekend.
We look to the Premier League, GAA and the UFC action in Sweden to do the business for us this week and this treble is a bumper 17/1 shot.
Everton to beat Spurs, 12/5
This price is a bit of a head scratcher. Everton are not great away from home, with only four wins all season, but they are on a serious push for a top four finish now and they are set to visit White Hart Lane at the ideal time. Gareth Bale is out, Jermain Defoe is out and Spurs played on Thursday. David Moyes’ side have been relaxing, and even though Fellaini and Pienaar are out, we fancy them to heap more misery on AVB.
Kerry to beat Tyrone, Evens
A recent upturn in form has calmed some fears about the summer but relegation still looms large for the Kingdom. Healy Park is no easy place to visit at any time but Eamon Fitzmaurice is fielding his strongest team of the year on Sunday, with Eoin Brosnan, Paul Galvin and Colm Cooper all named to start.
Kerry could do with winning big in case the score difference becomes an issue so we expect a highly motivated Kerry to do the necessary.
Conor McGregor to beat Marcus Brimage via KO, 7/4
Our very own UFC star, Conor McGregor, makes his debut for the biggest name in MMA in Sweden this weekend. He fights the formidable Marcus Brimage, unbeaten in three UFC bouts to date.
But we believe Conor is set to take the UFC by storm and with his record of 12 wins, 11 by KO, we think he use his trademark finish to show the UFC fans, and Dana White, what he can do.
