You’ve seen Keith Fahey’s, you’ve seen David Meyler’s, now feast your eyes on Padraig Harrington’s attempts to grow the best Movember ‘tache in Irish sport.
We’re not even ten days into November but there are already some very laudable efforts at Movember moustaches from a wide range of figures in Irish sport.
You can expect to see a few from the Irish rugby team who will be playing against the Springboks on Saturday and in case you missed them, take another look at the early efforts of Irish midfielders Keith Fahey (there have been a few accusations of cheating – not from us – at Keith’s incredibly lush facial fluff) and David Meyler.
Adding his name to the list of Irish sporting figures growing a soup-strainer for a worthy cause is three-time major winner Padraig Harrington, who showcased this baby at the Singapore Open today.

It’s still early days yet, but if this rate of growth continues Harrington could well end up with some serious handlebars in a few days time and be possessive of facial hair that is bound to frighten the life out of his adversaries on the golf course.
The likes of Harrington, Fahey and Meyler have set the bar, so we’re looking forward to seeing what Irish people in other sporting circles can produce over the next few days and weeks.
And while looking ridiculously cool is obviously important, the main issue is that it’s all for a great cause.
