Video: Hooters girl interrupts baseball match

We won’t claim to know every single rule of baseball, but we do know this Hooters girl interrupted a Phillies baseball game. Not that we mind in the slightest.

The aesthetically-pleasing blonde was seated on the side-lines of a Philadelphia Phillies baseball training game and left sportscasters dumbfounded and some fans reeling when she jumped up to steal a live ball and throw it into the crowd.

Wearing a pair of short-shorts that would have put Gaelic footballers from the 70’s to shame, took the ball that was still in play and gave it to the crowd.

She returns to her seat before the realisation sets in of what she has done, putting her head in her mitt.

Apparently these female ball girls are selected after tryouts that include testing of their softball skills, interpersonal skills and baseball knowledge.

As we said, we could do with brushing up on our baseball knowledge, so if this lady was interested in jetting over to our office to fill us in, we’d be more than happy to put her up for a few days.

All in the name of sport of course.
