AirPods have taken the tech world by storm since their release.

Apple’s AirPods have become a pretty convenient way of ensuring that nobody bothers you around the office, as you can have something in your ears while you’re doing anything and everything throughout the day.

They do come in handy when it comes to listening to music and other audio offerings, of course, and if you were a fan already, they are about to get even better.

The second wave of AirPods include features such as hands-free “Hey Siri” technology and a new Apple-designed H1 chip, developed specifically for headphones, which delivers a more efficient performance and faster connect times.

They also come with either a standard charging case or a new wireless charging case for convenient charging at home and on the go. Each case holds additional charges for more than 24 hours of total listening time.

The new AirPods are available to order on apple.com and the Apple Store app starting from today (20 March), and in Apple Stores beginning next week.

“AirPods delivered a magical wireless experience and have become one of the most beloved products we’ve ever made,” said Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.

“They connect easily with all of your devices, and provide crystal clear sound and intuitive, innovative control of your music and audio.”

Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook (who Donald Trump hilariously called ‘Tim Apple’ recently), shared an image on his Twitter page of the new design on Wednesday afternoon.
