At long, long last…
It’s been rumoured to be coming for long time, but it looks like it may finally be near fruition.
WhatsApp are testing a feature that allows you to recall messages you sent within the last five minutes, which could avoid a lot of awkward situations.
The feature will allow users to “unsend” messages, removing them from the recipient’s phone before they have a chance to read them.
According to WABetainfo, WhatsApp are testing the feature in the beta version of its latest update, which could soon be available on iOS.
The revoke feature (called now "unsend") should be available very soon, but probably we should wait the next iOS official update before.

According to reports, the feature will allow users the choice to edit or delete the messages they send within a five minute window.
The new feature hasn’t arrived on apps, and there’s no word on when it could make an appearance on iOS and Android yet. But reports suggest it could be rolled out during the next major update of the app.
