This is going to come in very handy.

Have you ever sent a message and immediately regretted it?

Maybe it was because you included a typo in it, or maybe it’s far worse. Maybe you sent a picture to someone you didn’t want to.

Or maybe you wanted to talk about someone, but you ended up talking to that person instead…

Don’t act like it’s never happened, we know it has.

Well don’t worry, because Mark Zuckerberg has come to the rescue.

Facebook Messenger will soon introduce a feature that lets you delete a message up to 10 minutes after it’s already been sent.

According to BusinessInsider, the new feature was spotted in the release notes for the newest Messenger update, but for now it’s still listed as “coming soon.”

Plans for the “unsend” feature were found in the release notes for the newest Messenger update were made available to iOS users on Tuesday. The note states that users will be able to remove a message within 10 minutes of sending it “if you accidentally send the wrong photo, incorrect information or message the wrong thread.”

Hopefully this leads to a serious decrease in the amount of people waking up with the fear as a result of a stupid message sent the night before.

But you’ll only have 10 minutes, so you’ll have to be quick…
