In October, Google rolled out a new time-saving shortcut for anyone who spends a lot of time in Google Docs, and nowadays, that's a hell of a lot of people.
The new shortcuts aren't going to save you a loads of time each day, but it does streamline the whole process in a very helpful way.
To open a new, blank document, or spreadsheet, or presentation, all you have to do is go to one of Google's handy new URLs.
Here’s a rundown of all of the new shortcuts, such as
doc.new. To use them, just type them into the address bar of the browser of your choice and a new file will be created:
